“Welcome to the project. This space is structured like a living habitat. The Gallery holds the physical windows to these spaces. Encounters are raw, unfiltered field observations and species descriptions. Wanders are the deeper literary essays tracking how these lives connect. Look for the Wander Dots—they are your signs to step off the path and see where the trail leads next.”

May, 2026

Soon I will leave the Desert. Before I go, I will linger a little longer in familiar places. The Wash. The birds at the feeder. The Palo Verdes. The small lives that live hidden among the stems, thorns, feathers and stones.

The Desert has given me much to work with in my art and writing and to share here. Patterns, resilience, and remarkable ecological architecture to continue to fill my essays and encounters.

My next destination is the San Juan National Forest. where I will explore where water shapes the landscape.

Keep Wandering with me, and I will keep showing you what I find
