HERMANN’S TAIL
That tail! I can’t stop watching it and, in the end, I want to pet it. The balancer, the rudder, the sometimes-parachute, a warm blanket, and a sunshade all built into a beautiful puff of fluffiness. Wish I had one.

MYSTIC GOOSE
Grooves, curves, and contrast dance with luminous silver lines among the feathers, revealing an intricate geometry at close range.

AMERICAN VIXEN
A little red fox at American Camp on San Juan Island exhibits bold behavior, suggesting it perceives itself as the apex predator due to the absence of natural threats. This unique attitude showcases its fearless nature in a safe environment.

HERMANN
Momentarily stopping the scurry to show off his magnificent tail is the only reason Hermann would stare me down. He is the central scurrier at Hermann Park. He has been busy today, eating, playing, fornicating, defending his territory and questioning my motives.

FRIEND OF HERMANN
A scurrying member of squirrel society eyeballed me while I eyeballed him, but he never stopped his work.
